Yeah, I read that one. Or, one that was similar. People telling her that she should surprise him and do things for him. That’s rough. I think what your dad did is in the past, he paid his dues, he/you are allowed to move on, it’s healthy and i’m sure time together can help in rebuilding family bonds with your dad. Damn, people really out of their mind on here. Talking about sexual assault and dumping him immediately? The first question I would ask is if he showing these to anyone or what the purpose of them are. I can’t recall ever doing it but I’d say the majority of girls I ever had a long term relationship with have snapped a photo of me without asking. I feel like that’s pretty normal relationship behavior.
This sounds like a terribly toxic individual. At face value You should be taking steps to remove you and your child from this situation as statistically speaking the violence will continue to grow. Search your city for a Women’s clinic or place that will give you some help. Also as you move toward that goal you need to cut contact with that person. I know it wont be easy but you just need to take this one step at a time and always keep moving forward. Your child and you deserve better than this. I hope you can gather the strength to push out of this.
