My partner eats more food over time than I do, so he pays a percentage more. There's not reason for me to pay for food I'm not eating. If we were eating pizza, he could eat 3/4 of it and I can eat 1/4. So I take some to save for later or he pays more. We do keep track of daily expenditures in order to make sure that nobody is inadvertently overspending or underspending. “Trying” to be equal works if everybody does their job & is realistic & remembers, but generally people tend to forget, so we do transfer money to each other in the moment if somebody buys groceries or pays for a date. We've found that we'll forget who paid for the last one & it's a mental burden, so easier to just keep track in the moment.
I often do the same thing with my lips when I’m thinking or concentrating. It’s never something I actively think about. She probably does it just because it’s what she does when she’s pondering something.
If you really hate it that much you really need to seek therapy. Because that’s not normal. And if she caught a look of pure anger in your face and she doesn’t know why, she’s going to start wondering why you hate her.
She’s an adult who chose to move out of his house. He helps pay her bills. I wouldn’t think to invite her either as the money for her ticket is probably going to her rent. She’s a 25 yo working adult, she accepts responsibility for hiccups like her car when she moves out. We all do. If you want to be independent you have to take all that comes with it. Your parents can’t always bail you out and it seems unfair that his oldest is guilting him for, contrary to what is consistently seen on Reddit, having his priorities aligned.
Have you seen any proof that the friend is gay? And not bi? Do you trust what she said?

You may be the reason she hasn't gotten together with anyone. Perhaps she still has strong feelings for you. Until you contact her, you'll never know, and if you don't contact her, you'll lose your chance to at least know.

Because even if you are not being treated well at work, which according to OP she doesn’t think was the case, you wait until you have a new job before you quit. They don’t have kids, but Op is in school and working part time and they can’t live! on just her salary. So yes they will be going without. If the job was truly so terrible I could see maybe quitting on the spot with no notice once you have a new job. Not jumping on a table and screaming at people while throwing expensive equipment around. His coworkers were probably terrified and wondering if he was gonna pull a gun out or something. Yeah there’s other companies out there but you bet your ass word is gonna spread about this and he will be lucky to ever get hired in his field again.
I agree, and the wife may be having trouble putting it into words but there is something that got her going. I don’t believe she is projecting or anything like that.
