Fellow older sister here. My sister and I are 11 years apart. I've been super honest with my sister about all my past and fuck ups. Even told her I was SA on 3 occasions.
We want the best for our siblings. We want them to do better than us. Talk to her but listen to her. Open up to her. Show her the dangers of the world. Scare her a little bit. She'll learn to understand.
I was upset because I I lost the respect of those in my workspace. My decision to quit was not done out of a dislike for the job, mostly due to time constraints. I care about having a positive relationship towards them, and leaving on a bad note.
Like I said in my first sentence, this doesn't apply to this situation. If the woman had stayed after OP told her he was married, she would be a homewrecker.
I took your comment as implying that affair partners aren't “home wreckers,” when the reality is that most are. A person who sleeps with someone who is married is despicable and at fault. A lot of people think that only the married cheater should be blamed, absolving the unmarried affair partner of any wrongdoing. Those people balk at the idea of a “homewrecker.” I assumed you were one of them, given how quick you were to jump to the affair partner's defense.
I think you should end it with him amicably. Don’t tell his wife. There are too many people killed by their spouse or affair partner. People lose their minds when their lives start crumbling. Look out for yourself.
Ehhh I disagree, and I agree. Normally, I’d agree with you in this type of post fully. Age is just a number, once you hit a certain life stage point. This ones not normal.
It gets murky in certain situations. Med school people being one. They thrive best in relationships where the partner is able to provide stability, support, and family/community. Also doubly true for people with severe traumas. They often on-line reclusive and withdrawn lives. If it happened as children or as young adults, they learn the harsh realities of the world and how to navigate it much earlier than a ‘normal healthy’ person.
She's a SAHM but has not kids? Its sad you had to be married to find out she will not support you in times of trouble. You don't need therapy you need a divorce lawyer. Do you honestly think if you got a well paid job next week you will just be able to forget how she's treated you?
She obviously considers men a just meal ticket. No wonder she put up with the cheater, he handed over 3 engagement rings to keep her sweet.
She does mean she prefers the cheater because he has money. The ONLY thing she liked about you has gone….wake up man. Ditch her before you have money again or she'll bleed you dry.

You're “exclusive” and he didn't know your age??

Would you want your best friend to know if they had been cheated on?
Yeah.

It's obvious what you need to do here
Time to make your own comic and scatter it around campus
Don't. She told you no, twice. She's not into you. Leave her alone, and move on.
