2. Two others have already eloquently responded to this, but yes, I have absolutely skipped doing the dishes because I didn't feel like it. I have also occasionally not brushed my teeth at night for the same reason. Or waited a few days to mow the lawn.

   But no, I haven't applied the same laziness and lack of logic to one of the biggest decisions a person can face.

   There's no way this dude went from being excited to marry and have kids to not wanting to marry simply because he “doesn't feel like it” any more. He owes her an honest explanation and answer so she can make a fully informed decision about what she wants for her life and her future.
