I'm really glad I found this post because I usually find myself feeling the same way. I'm 26 living with parents. Still in school but almost done with it. I would like a relationship because consistency is nice and having “your person” always makes things a little better. However, I find myself holding back and opting for hook ups or fwb because it's just simply easier to manage than a relationship. Relationships are work and responsibility sometime. I've had two relationships I've taken seriously and although they didn't work out because of other things, it is possible. If that person wants to spend time with you and head into the future with you, then whatever you're doing at the moment shouldn't matter too much. If they're the right partner, they'll understand.
Regarding the cars and the nice things, that's just preference. Having a nice car and a nice place certainly makes finding potential partners easier, but remember that you have to like the girl as well. Don't be enamored over the first fish you catch.
Oh my god I forced my boyfriend to give me an honest answer of his PREFERENCE and when he was honest and I didn't like his answer, I got mad!!! How dare he?!?!
You're 31 but you act like a 5 year old. People don't always date their dream partner. Why? Because they're still happy with you regardless of what his/her dream partner may be.
You sound like a nightmar to be with. He obviously knew you would not like the answer and he didn't want to lie to you so he chose not to say it. You FORCE it out of him by mentioning breeak up and then cry about it. Christ..
Ooooo girl, he is going to regret this big time! Focus on yourself. Every man who ever left after building his confidence & thinking he could “do better” came crawling back.
Its a fantasy. A fantasy that will come crashing into reality. Who posts first dates? Attention seeking ***** thats who. Shes using him & once he gets hurt DO NOT be his emotional tampon because he will come to you.
He can deal with it on his own the same way you had to. People suck. They can seem exciting for a few weeks or even months but most times these days, they are simply temporary in your life.
Simple but harsh truth: Someone who cares about you would not make you wonder so much about what happened

Anything is possible but it’s aggressively unlikely.
I hope to be honest with my husband. It was not friendly banter, the guy wanted to have sex with me.
Thanks for the comments peoples. I guess I'm just hoping someone has magic words that we haven't thought of ❤️?

Then I feel bad for any people in your life if you have the same type of controlling attitude. Have a good one.

Adults do not need to be reminded that they need to be able to pay for what they order
He is just not that into you.
