This man is abusive and you should leave but it is NEVER okay to escalate the situation to the point you did and use your child as a shield. You followed him carrying your small child with the intention of continuing an aggressive argument. Your child deserves better than the volatile environment you two have BOTH created. Screaming and banging on a locked door holding a baby shows a real lack of self control are you even considering how your behavior affects this child too? Leave this man, make better choices and get some serious counseling.

And you want a heart to heart? She’s been emotionally abusing you for fifteen years. She stopped caring about your feelings a long time ago, if she ever did at all. I mean, let’s be real— you could go to a public place and throw a handful of gravel, hit five women, and they would be less upset with you than your wife is over thinking some Jennifer was hot FIFTEEN YEARS AGO.

I am so sorry that your husband is giong through this. If you can, maybe you want to talk to a family therapist on how to proceed with the 12 year old, also…i would suggest he takes a DNA test for the 14 year old as well. Then get family therapy where he can tell his son the news. he is 12 and deserves to know, and one day his mother will tell him and will most likely do it it a not so nice way which will shatter his world even more.
Also, if your husband is on the birth certificate and he is paying child support then he usually has the right to see his child. He should lawyer up/contact his lawyer and go to court to get his custody time and then enforce it.
OOP would have put a lot of thought into fabricating such story. It's absolutely insane to be real but it's too bizarre to be a lie.
