Okay I’m a military brat and growing up in the military as much as I hate to admit this…IT VERY COMMON. A lot of couples are engaged and married super fast. The military do have beliefs on this but you can’t stop some people from doing this as a lot of the time it’s young love and dumb decisions. As well as loneliness, and tbh most of the ones I’ve seen end in divorce. Some make it but have lots of problems and others seem happy but a lot of them end due to the SO not knowing what to expect and that first deployment hits naked and even though there are resources for spouses and significant others some people don’t use them and then cheating and all that happen.
