I think there are a few options here – a) therapy (I know you asked about this upthread, but a therapist can both help you figure out how to deal with your feelings in the moment, how you can move forward, and possibly also how to respond to these people in ways that are productive); b) ask Kierra if she’d be willing to get a haircut to make her look older/dress older if you know you’ll be somewhere this will be a problem/wear older looking makeup (like more mature looking, not sfx aging) if you know you’ll be in a danger zone. The second option is unfair to Kierra, but I think you really need to talk to her about how serious a toll this is taking on you. It sounds like your mental health is seriously degrading. You have a daughter and you love your wife – divorce doesn’t seem like a smart path, but you do have to figure something out before you snap. And if your wife loves you, she will listen when you tell her how very hot this is and try to brainstorm ways with you that she can help. The good news is that this should blow over. People you interact with regularly are going to realize they’re idiots and you’ll be treated normally, but it may need help to get there.
