You asked why she would be upset or see her time as being wasted. Not communicating his feelings in return when she did could have been frustrating for her, but as you said, we'll never know. It was just an example of why she could have reacted that way without being irrational.

We went to therapy for quite a bit after and we both did a lot of growing. For months things were really good. Once he found out about our finances, that’s when things went downhill. Your bf is batshit crazy. You need to leave him before he lies to the school and gets you in a shit ton of trouble. If I was his friend I would have told him he's nuts.
