while she has been getting better, she can often turn erratic and violent when angry/upset. today she was upset that her wisdom tooth appointment could potentially take 6 months (she’s been waiting almost a year). i was initially willing to pay for private but she didn’t want me to do that. at the end of the appointment she started crying, and while i shouldn’t have done the whole “i told you so”, i was also annoyed that I added her to my private health, booked the appointment and had already paid for consultation.
an argument while driving back started and she lost it. she said she will jump out the door and proceeded to do it after refusing to put her seatbelt back on. as she open the door on the highway i pulled her back in and yelled “stop it that’s dangerous” i pulled over by the street. i told her that she is crazy. i acknowledge i shouldn’t have but considering what just happened… she started to hit her legs and head and pulling her own hair. and she opened the door and walked off. after about half an hour i looked for her to no avail. get a call from a random number and it was her asking me to take her to her mothers. i picked her up and she said she wants to go home with me. i’m still in a bit of shock.
she needs help. and i need help from an outside perspective because i feel that i should end this relationship
Unless there is some kind of drama between your gf and the friends you’re offering to drive, then there is no “crazy situation” for her to worry about.
They only thing to apologize over is not giving her a heads up, but it is your car, and if you’re going to be the DD (not making her drive you and work friends home) she should be able to put on her big girl pants and make small talk on the ride over.

Sadly, reporting abusers in academia leads to zero consequences most of the time, and a job shuffle more often than any significant consequences.
I am not searching for pitty i am searching for logical answers, not answers from women trying to make me understand why i need a wedding like that or that it's normal to have one.
Look you can have a wedding, you can not have a wedding, you can elope, you can just sign papers, thats all up to you and your partner. People here are pissed you interpret things that were never directly said and get defensive (and honestly extremely misogynistic) when asked how you concluded all that.
You aren't going to easily de-escalate with someone so immature. If he's one of those, it's my way or no way guys, then you are gokng to have a fight on your hands. Tell him they are your games, and you do not want to give them away. You can try a civil conversation about property and permission, but I bet he doesn't cave. He sounds exhausting, like a bully.
She cheated on you, then hid it, lied about it, and then put the blame on you for “working to hard”.
No one deserves to be treated this way. I know it’s nude because it’s your first love, but she is not a nice person. You’re young and you have your whole life in front of you, don’t choose to spend it with someone who doesn’t respect you ?
