I have Life360 with my mom (just a group that includes her, my brother, and her boyfriend), but only because she respects boundaries and doesn’t outright stalk me lmao. I actually only agreed once my mom started developing serious health issues of which included memory loss and she would get lost very easily, even taking walks around the apartment complex. She lives over an hour away now, and I’m 20 just for reference. I mainly use it when my mom or brother are on their way to me and I want to see how far away they are. Pretty much the same with them, plus you can send emergency notifications in case something happens and you can’t get ahold of someone.
That being said, my dad can be overbearing and overprotective so I’ve outright refused to join Life360 with him. Perhaps it’s time for you to jump the gun and either get a phone plan of your own or just uninstall it/stop sharing your location and see what happens. You’ve already communicated how this makes you feel to her and nothing has changed, so that’s obviously not doing anything and doesn’t leave much as far as options go. It’s fine to put up boundaries, you’re not a minor and you’re so far away that if something by chance did happen, she can’t do anything anyways except maybe call the police which she can do without Life360.
You should get a trainer for the barking. I don’t know about in the house now, maybe a really good trainer could help but they’ve long marked their territory.
