I have PCOS and an underactive thyroid due to my cancer meds. I was able to lose weight. I started gaining when my thyroid failed. I got a nutritionist through the hospital where I get cancer treatments, and I walk 10,000+ steps a day. It sounds like you make excuses, and your bf sees you could be doing more. He's trying to encourage you politely. Sometimes, people don't like to be held accountable for their behavior, and they get mad at the person trying to help them. I wonder if counseling would help you. You may have some food addiction issues, low self esteem, something that keeps you from really caring about yourself.
