Given your extra info about the disagreement, I suspect your gf will turn this into a dealbreaker. Especially since she’ll see you as having gone behind her back. She’ll see it as disloyalty, betrayal, etc and you’ll be sunk. For the record, her stance seems very unreasonable and immature. Logically, you’re likely to soon have to choose between continuing with her, or your friends. I know I’d pick the friends. As long as the ‘making fun of her’ part wasn’t ill-intentioned and mean. At your age, it’s more important to be exploring new people and experiences, than being limited by one person’s insecurities and random bans on who you spend your time with. In your late teens/early 20’s you learn far more about life and people skills by hanging with friends.
