I was exactly like that with my first girlfriend, but I had no experience so it was maybe an ego issue or just an inexperience issue.

It was always on my mind and it made me miserable even though we had a good time it was always on the back of my mind.

Tell her how you feel, but also understand that the past is the past and that it's all in your head unless she actively talks about it or gives you a reason to have any doubts/ bad thoughts. The fact that she mentioned the sex was bad is because she cares about you! And wants you to feel good about yourself.

Focus on your relationship and make her feel great, it will also make you feel better about yourself and your abilities, just live your love life and love each other.

I think it’s worth mentioning that I never expressed these worries and differences to him before so he isn’t completely aware that all these things bother me, so i know I’m part of the issue in failing to communicate this
