I don't think it's misogynistic (if I spelt that right) to prefer a boy over a girl.
Mmm, I would say no that it's not a recurring issue, but I would say that instead of a nurturing person he is more of a problem-solver/coach. So he was looking for an objective kind of win-win while I was looking for this super important issue that was already scheduled to win on this one. Something for me to think about though, in the emotional department especially.

I disagree. Sometimes giving the other person a “taste of their own medicine” can be beneficial to make them realize their mistakes. She’s tried asking him to stop, she’s tried communicating her feelings. She feels disrespected and desperate. What are her options at this point if he won’t listen or take her seriously? Either break up or do something a little “immature” as you put it? I think it’s worth a shot before calling it quits.
