Maybe try and branch out with variations on the things you know she likes. I've done the same with my partner who didn't cook past shoving chicken tenders and chips in the oven. It's still a work in progress, and thankfully he is more open to my cooking than OPs partner, but I'd obviously like to take a break from cooking sometimes.
