I guess it depends on what you're willing to put up with. You're not willing to slow down having sex, but with that comes these pregnancy “scares” where your wife treats you like garbage and it clearly affects you. Joint therapy would only work if your wife willing to try it again, which seems unlikely based on your comments. If she isn't willing, she won't be receptive to it and you'll be back to square one.
