You're super lucky the trash has taken itself out. Don't be super confused or lost, be super grateful instead. You'll see what I mean when you find a rational partner.
Your post was removed for the following reason(s):
Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly
Posts must:
include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and
request advice in real situations involving two or more people
We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles start with ages/genders in the following format:
[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two at the beginning of your title. Here is an example:
yeah I think he has been a good boyfriend but always in the back of my head (from trauma and past relationships) is a bunch of doubts and mistrust and worries. and I guess this reading confirmed those doubts but idk how accurate that is.
Did you even read your last comment before posting? Name calling, presumption of action… If one party forbids the other to spend any time with the opposite sex, that's the literal opposite of trust. That's not a relationship, it's a dictatorship.
Cut them off if they don’t listen to you. This is your life, not theirs. Doesn’t have to be forever, just long enough for your ex to get out of the picture. You’re their kid, they’ll come around again. This’ll let them know you’re serious. Also how the fuck would your parents feel if that happened to each one of them?
Yup. My first husband would start arguments, berate me if I disagreed with him, and yell, “you brought it up!” Once, we were heading out somewhere, and we started to argue about politics in an Asian country. He slammed on the brakes, turned the car around, and went back home (like I was a fucking five year old.)
Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it. I know it takes more than love, and it's naked for me to tell if we have what it takes to be honest. I want to hear from more people to feel more sure in my decisions, but Im leaning towards telling him he should move out now.

He oversteps in his own relationship and to make it better, he over steps in the one you have with his.
Cancel the trip. This can only get worse.

NOTHING. Block that person!
If he committed crimes and you DO have proof: report to the authorities.
