Thank you for your comment. Yes, he works full time, but most of his free time is spent that way. Every time we speak about me having a space he brings up the fact that I can be anywhere else in the house… so I guess I feel guilty for insisting I need my own space that will be quiet.

OK then to be really clear… because this is just your side of the story…
My advice is to find a way that you can work on your own insecure feelings independent of your bf.
That could be reading a book about it, going to therapy, talking to friends (ones that help you see the situation in a healthy way not ones that will just tell you what you want to hear), or some other way of dealing with things.
Until you know what is insecurity, and what is actually your brain telling you hey something is not ok here, you can't make a good decision one way or another. Good luck!
