Yeah he is cordial to me, and i know his opinion isnt important about me. Im just surprised he thinks he can talk about my decisions behind my back like that.

Even if she wasn’t playing a game, and she was just doing whatever in the house, you are STILL allowed to call someone else first, for ANY reason.
Eg maybe you want to get the calls out of the way so you can relax after, or you told someone you’d tell them asap, or maybe someone needs that info to do something further for you, or maybe you need to thank someone.
You’re allowed to call who you want, when you want.
This in no way actually affects her or has anything to do with her. She needs to get over herself and ideally she goes in the bin.
