I think it's a shit or get off the pot situation. It's experience and he's applying how he experiences life with the relationship that he wants. So there's the conflict. uncertainty gets in the way of relationships, sowing doubt anytime you guys are separate to the point it may become a mental dis-ease. My mom cut off her entire family, and I'm the only one who stays in touch with them, so unless my uncle decides to try to tell her, I don't think there's anyone else who can relay the information.
