Why would this be selfish towards my partner? I’d obviously tell them. I don’t need their permission. Especially since it wouldn’t be all the time, i don’t go out every week anymore like i did in my undergrad. But if I went out occasionally with friends, why should I “accept” what is essentially a curfew? So odd.
I would give a fuck about my partner. But not if they just impose a rule without good reason. I’m an adult, and they’re not my parent (i even hated when my parents did that).
If he loved you enough, he would propose if you wanted him to. This is an uneven relationship, you are more invested in more emotionally attached than he is. He’s not going to marry you if you bought the baby. Maybe he’ll propose, But you’re going to have a permanently long engagement. Plus, aborting a wanted baby destroys a relationship, so it’s pretty much over either way. You need to decide if you want this child and go from there.
