Ahhh okay. I mean anyone can be white, and have a different ethnicity so that makes sense. The problem here for me would be my bf bringing up these topics randomly out of no where or when we have had some to drink. He’s very defensive and talks to me aggressively when this happens. When it doesn’t effect him and he admits to it. He was born here in a all American family. Middle class. Only knows one language. I would be more open to hearing his rants if someone was apparently racist towards him. But it doesn’t happen. We live in a majorly white town. Me and my family experience racism often so to me it’s just stupid hearing certain things from him. And when I disagree it’s an argument
When you say 'housemate' is this a person who you actually share space with, and you are all on the same lease for the 'house'? As in, you share the tenancy? Or is this a tenant in the 'building' separate from you, a different unit and a different lease? What measures is your landlord taking? This is important.
You can file without a lawyer. It doesn't seem like he has many assets anyway, so divorce is straightforward. It depends on your location, but you should just be able to file and separate legally and the clock will start ticking (in some places you need to be separated for a certain amount of time).

Just curious what activities were discussed in the lead up texts? Nothing involving you and the husband participating? Just watching?
Okay, a couple of things:

I know it isn’t helpful to do the same thing back…
But I couldn’t help imagining her clapping and calling him like a puppy instead of using his name.
I wonder how far that would go before he’d draw the line. Probably a day.

You're not going to get most localities to do anything about it if it's two consenting adults.
YOU think he’s charming. Other women see him walking backwards to check them out or STARING FOR AN ENTIRE MEAL and think, “What a creep.”
And all the women he’s creeping on are looking for an exit. I suggest you find one quickly.
