What's being implied is waiting for time and space OP would be willing and able to have sex, otherwise would, and choosing not to until her partner makes it up to her. (hence “extra couple weeks”) And I was speaking as that being an issue in general terms of thinking women withholding sex with their partner and “make them use their hands” is healthy. Because it isn't, it treats sex like a reward women deign to give to men which has nasty implications, like assuming women don't enjoy sex or don't feel a desire to be with their partners in the same way their partners do with them.
It's not about being upset a partner doesn't want to have sex, heck it isn't even about being upset at all. It's that treating sex like a bargaining chip to be taken off a metaphorical table until your partner “makes it up to you” sounds like a bad thing for anyone, man or woman, to do in a relationship.
Every real martial art teaches one thing over and over, avoid the fight if possible. Most women and lots of men too, have never been in a real fight, the schoolyard in 4th grade doesn't count.
