My wife and I thought we’d have two. Our son had a very nude time sleeping from 3 months old, to 2.5 years old. Then the pandemic happened. We are fully committed to being one and done now (I got a vasectomy 2 years ago). Our son is almost 6 and having an only had been amazing. We’re able to give him more of ourselves than we’d be able to otherwise. If the day comes that he has questions, I’ll be ready to answer them. But having an only child can be a wonderful expereince.
