  1. aromantic? it's a romantic label from LGBT where you cannot feel romantic attraction whatsoever, and when you do, it's a really low amount. It's like a spectrum of sorts. Some aromantics are repulsed by the idea of dating. I, on the other hand, am not. I just realized I was aromantic because I never had crushes or anything like that. Hell, when I started dating my boyfriend, I didn't even have a crush on him— I considered him a really close friend, which is why I didn't reject him. I'm really glad I didn't, though, because his company makes me feel truly joyful.

I could send you a link of a LGBT site explaining this label more in depth, if needed.

  2. Daughter needs to grow up, she's 25 and too old for this behavior. She lost her job on purpose to try to make the father feel guilty. He's helped her quite a bit. Now she has to help herself act like an adult. Life isn't fair cupcake, and he's tried to be a good father to her.

  3. Women often accuse their spouse of cheating or being interested in other women, because the woman is already cheating. It's a form of projection.

  4. The GF isn't engaging. She gave Shady Guy what he wanted at the time to make him go away, and untangled herself from the situation at a safe distance. She didn't add him back, she gave an pre-emptive excuse in case he asks again, she didn't say “hey, snap doesn't work but we should text about the show!” From the facts OP has told us, she's not giving off any “yeah, I'm interested!” signals.

He needs to trust that she knows how best to handle it, and just let it alone. That includes trusting her on whether HR would be helpful.

  5. What is shitty to me is that her reasoning is “I took care of him for all these years and now he won’t give me a baby”. She knew his circumstances when she married him and willingly supported him. Whether or not he ever wanted kids is a different story but it’s like she thinks she’s owed a baby from him because she supported him.

  6. Putting these issues aside.

How and when does this relationship go from being LD? Who is planning the eventual move?

What are her expectations for you that she gets upset about? She’s jealous because she want you to do what, instead of what?

  7. Girl…no. hell no. I dated a grown ass 46yr old man that did this wishy washy dhit…and it's exhausting. And then when I did come over he'd be boring, quiet, act like I was in the way. I took the hint and dumped his ass. You should too.

  8. So if you don’t break up with her she should break up with you. You went into her personal stuff without her permission and was just being disrespectful. She can’t trust you know for sure. You can’t trust her because you think she will cheat on you. So no point in staying with her. You shouldn’t be in a relationship if this is what you do.

  9. You don’t have much choice. You’ve got to let him go. Why would you want to be in a relationship with someone who is so callous and manipulative to ghost you over an argument? Stop trying to contact him and figure out your next move without him. Even if he comes back, don’t let him dictate the narrative, he chose to run away, acting like a child pitching a tantrum instead of being a grown up and talking it out.

If you tolerate this behavior now, he’s always going to do it when things get rough because he got away with it once. Respect yourself enough to not let anyone treat you that way. Definitely don’t have a child with him. He’s acting like a child.
