  1. Man people here are so quick to throw in “divorce” and mind you, those people are usually not married themself. Divorce is the last act to rescue yourself and you are far away from needing that right now.

The first thing you need to do ask him why exactly he is doing what he is doing and if his explaination does not suit you, ask him to stop, for the sake of your marriage.

If he says he will and does required steps to follow through, let him show you the things he did to actually follow up and then trust that its gonna be okay, for a while.

If he falls back on his behaivor, anywhere in the future, which is likely and okay, confront him again and make sure he understands that this is a risk to your marriage. People are weird, have weird urges and do weird shit for all the weird reasons.

Leave him some honest space for fuck-ups so long he keeps actually trying.

  2. Success as a singer doesn't only involve just singing. One has to maintain the capability to be in front of crowds, to risk failure and if they're trying to make it a career, to deal with the viper pit that is talent agents, bookers, promoters, record labels, etc. This industry, and it is an industry, just isn't for everyone with a decent singing voice. So if she wants to focus on becoming a music teacher and leave performing in the past maybe try to be a little more supportive. She obviously knows she can sing. But she may also be savvy enough to see that she wants no part of the wicked machine involved with trying to become a star.

  3. Just out of curiosity, from you or anyone who has the opinion you’re sharing in this thread, I swear I’m not coming for you I am just genuinely curious to hear your thoughts as an ex of someone with the condition….

What do you think should happen for people with this diagnosis? From my understanding, it is not their fault and it’s not curable. So as far as relationships go, what should that look like for them? Should people just generally refuse to be in relationships with them? I understand the risks and the reasons NOT to but it seems so sad to me.

  4. Good ur finding humor in this OP.. was it funny when she told you you guys dont have meaningful chats?

When she stayed out all night having deep emotional conversations with another man?

This is how cheating starts, it starts off emotionally building a connection and then it becomes physical because of that strong deep bond.

She's gonna see this man EVERY DAY! AND THEY WILL TALK EVERYDAY!

and you think they aren't gonna get closer? She can say she won't but what if u guys fight or she's needing that spiritual connection. Who will she turn to? Apparently not her bf!

You can't monitor what she does during her lunch hours or while she's at work. This is gonna escelate. I wouldn't stay out all night with a man that isn't my partner that isn't appropriate or respectful.

Hope you can find humor in it when this blows up and she starts fucking this dude.

  5. No, your friends should come first. They are the ones that are there for you in all circumstances before a partner comes along and in most cases they will be there afterwards.

Most relationships these days are temporary, whereas most friends are for life.

Not sorry for having a different opinion so best to end this here and move on.
