Who likes working? I’ve been working since I was 15 and am currently working my most palatable job to date. I have never and will never be someone that loves to work or falls in love with their job, it isn’t in my personality to do so. I’d prefer being retired and doing my own thing instead.
Question is whether he has the fortitude to suck it up and put in the time and effort to commit to labor, the critical thinking and judgment to job hop with purpose to try to find something more palatable if that’s something he wants to do, or if he’s just going to flounder and languish professionally forever. If it’s the latter that’s a matter of personal values and it sounds like his ambition might not be compatible with yours. I’d be outta there if I was with someone that was okay with being a forever low earner by choice / lack of effort and not due to disability or something outside of their control. But for me, that would just be a big compatibility issue. I also wouldn’t date someone that lived in debt or didn’t value saving for their future.
