But once the realization hit that I was going to be responsible for a baby I got veerrrryy scared. I also think its a good sign that he wants to have more time with you before having the baby, not that he wants the time to travel alone or explore his options. Id sit him down and tell him you love him, think he will be a great father, and make plans (and follow through) to spend time with each other before the baby comes. Then plan something for after the baby is here, and if you have a good support system include them in the planning so that you can take a longer trip or something.
