Yeah we're not looking right now obviously but we agreed we're looking to move out of our apartments and own a home (whether single or with someone) and building a family. We just know we are getting older and we don't want to live! in apartments forever, that's really the extent of our conversations right now. She just happened to share she had no cash savings and I got to thinking.
With my ex we contributed pretty much 50/50 to my first house so less messy so my question was really how to handle the situation when one partner has all or most of the down-payment.

If you want to go back to your parents because that is what YOU want, do that. But don't make choices based on what other people want, even though you love those people
