Could not care less about what my girlfriend likes on social media, same with her about me. She has eyes, she can see, she has a right to find other people handsome, fun, attractive or whatever and like that post in the same way she would leave a like on anything else.
Why do you like a picture of food? Of a room? Of an animal? A like means nothing really. If she tried to control that i would find it disrespectful, you trust your partner or not. At the end of the day he liked a pic but choose to be with you.
If you want her to believe you, tell her that you betrayed her, you lied to her, you emotionally cheated on her and you don't have any excuses. What you did was bad!
Tell her also that you want to be in a relationship with her, you want to make it official and make her understand that you can't make any promises but from now on you can only show her by your actions who you are and you would love another chance if she's ever ready to forgive you for what you did.
The situation was confusing because of her past trauma, she had commitment issues and you only make the situation worse for her by lying.

I would send him a picture of the test results because I’m kind of petty sometimes. The thing is everyone knew you had the cough. They could have worn masks or asked you to wear one. You feel the way you feel because he lied and he threatened you… he threatened to hit you.
It’s frustrating. My gf has been in this cycle for a long time. A lot of guys approach her under the auspices of being totally platonic friends.
They’re usually the men that are “nicest” to her, so they’re the most likely for her to reciprocate attention. They’ll do all sorts of things at the drop of a hat – give her presents, buy her things, be hyper available to be a shoulder to cry on and tell her she’s not to blame. Putting just a weird amount of resources in and never challenging her opinion, then saying “I mean that’s just being friends, duh.”
And since that’s 90% of the make attention she gets, it reads as normal to her until they finally start trying to convince her I’m the root of all her problems and make a move. She’s always legitimately heartbroken, but she can’t spot the behavior because the halo effect is real.
I dunno man… the way that most men act in order to play a long game to get a woman they want has been really disturbing to watch for me. They fixate and see the woman as a fantasy person and some kind of weird… career goal… they want to achieve. They may acknowledge that she’s a person, but their real personality is buried so far down under their game they’re playing that I have no idea if they really care about the women they fixated on or not.
