WTF are you doing OP? You are in no way ready for a relationship. It takes at least a year to process and recover from a breakup. Instead, you rushed right in with someone who is asking you to dishonor an agreement and disrespect your ex. She's actually trying to take ownership of assets still jointly held by your ex. I think it would be better worded to say she needs to come clean about what happened and talk about it with the dad, whether it was SA or she did in fact, cheat. She may be innocent in all of this but she may not be. Right now, it’s ambiguous.

People can grow and change. Just because she did something bad back then doesn’t mean she will do it again. A big tell would be how she talks about the past behavior. Does she own up to it, take responsibility and acknowledge it was wrong? Or does she make excuses, blame the ex and call them crazy, etc?

OP is a narcissist, and not going to recover. The best he can do is keep showing people who he is so they can stay the fuck away. This is exactly who my stepdad is, and narcissists do not change.
