My sister does the same thing every year and my mom was the same as well. It caused a lot of anxiety for me during Xmas. I would set a $100 limit but only get them one gift each. They would individually wrap everything and make as many things to open as they could and wouldn’t stick to the budget because of this. Since my mom passed, for the past 2 years I ask my sister if we can skip presents this year in like November or October. She always says she already bought my presents… now I feel forced to buy her stuff. She also sends me extravagant things to buy her and I’d rather buy her something thoughtful that I think she would like. We have completely different ideas on what gifts should be. To top things off she has a spending addiction and she’s in a crazy amount of debt and often cries to me asking for money year round yet somehow Xmas overrides her money issues every year. It’s so frustrating.

Stop talking to him and block him. It’s that simple. You’re now his ex, not his girlfriend. You don’t owe him professions of love, and it’s not healthy for him to expect you to do so.
He was an important part of your life for a decent amount of time. He is not now. You need to cut contact in order to move on.

But having said that, was she always like this? Yes and No. The 17yo person you first met is likely quite different than a 20yo person you broke up with. Add in some freedom and a desire to live her best single life, she's likely hitting the tiles pretty hard and making sure shes' taking advantage of her singleness. I'm sure that a bunch of women who are strippers and sex workers have some pretty liberal ideas of what 'fun' looks like too. She is the same person but people change and go through different stages – this might be her “wild” stage.
Honestly peoples bodies change with age, fitness and health. 20lbs is nothing really, what happens if you decide to have kids?
I personally wouldn’t, he has standards that you need to continually meet, I mean having standards if fine but 20lbs is the difference between what he considers acceptable and not. You should be working out for you, not him.
