Several people in my family have ADHD. So, if we have to be somewhere at say 5pm, we tell them 4:30pm, and we do have times aet for 15 minutes before that as a buffer. It works for us pretty well!

That is probably why i just won’t say anything. He asked me once to see the dog before the dog passed away, but blew me off the day of stating he was out of town and then showing up on facebook at like local 5k race with his now wife. He also sent his best friend to meet me and get the scoop on my life a month before his wedding, at this time i was pretending to be ok and was in new relationship so lust/love… but that love has faded and i still miss my ex. Yeah, being sad is normal. Taking a day or two alone is normal, but 2+ weeks of no contact because an ex from 4 years ago is married is too much. OP is reasonable to want to break it off.

“If you do this I will do that” is controlling. As is “Fine go then i don't want to talk to you anymore anyway”. It's emotional manipulation because he's trying to make you feel bad for doing it.
