  1. So you haven’t disparaged his d size, because you love him, but he can disparage your looks even though he loves you? This seems abusive to belittle your physical appearance, even if you are ok with it.

Onto the other subject, while I think it’s ridiculous and antiquated to “marry off” the children in your family like they are possessions that can’t make decisions for themselves, I’ll put that aside for a moment. If you believe you plan to marry this man, you need to have the conversation about you sex life and how you both can be satisfied. It will be a difficult discussion because you will need to broach the subject of your concerns. Which he may take negatively, unlike how you see him speaking of your looks. However, there are ways to ensure a satisfying sex life, even with it not being his d that gives you what you need. I think as long as he can find other ways to get you to climax (oral, fingers, toys), you can work through this. I know some men see toys as a competition, but really they are tools they can use to make it enjoyable for both of you.

You just need to discuss it as delicately as possible. If you love each other as you claim and plan to marry, you should be able to have these kinds of conversations. If you are embarrassed to have it or don’t feel it is ok to have these conversations then not sure marriage is the way to go. Because you will need open communication to have a healthy marriage.

  2. Personally I do think all anxiety needs treatment. Simply because everyone should have the tools to deal with their anxiety regardless of the reason for it.

But also if that guy was my husband I'd have anxiety about having sex with him too. I can't imagine being married to someone that disregarded my feelings that way.

  3. Hello /u/TransponderNode,

Your post was removed for the following reason(s):

Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly

    Posts must:

include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and

request advice in real situations involving two or more people

We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles start with ages/genders in the following format:

[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two at the beginning of your title. Here is an example:

[34NB][88-F] We are two people in an example post

Please resubmit with a corrected title.

  4. Beyond the point here but If your oven is smoking after an hour with nothing in it, you need to get that replaced. There is no risk to leaving an oven on unless you have something flammable in there, or your food dries out and catches fire. But an empty oven should not be smoking because it's on.

  5. She's 38yo. If you have to teach her what's appropriate in issue ultimatums, then she already failed the life partner test.

There's nothing to discuss with her. You can't trust her. Ghost and block this trash.

  6. You feel comfortable confiding in someone who betrayed you as much as anyone can betray another person. You said your current partner cheated in the past, yet you’re still with him. You feel a need to hide things from your partner. You seek out relationships that are just as fucked as the relationships you had in your formative years (because you don’t feel as though you deserve better?)

Sorry, but to me, a layman, this sounds like self worth issues. However, I’m sure your therapist will have a better understanding of the full picture.

I wish you the best of luck.
