I can see where your husband is coming from, but is he seeing your point of view? You love the dog, and the dog loves you guys. Between the fact that shelters are full and so many sketchy people are pretending that they're the biggest animal lovers and caretakers that chances are, that dog may just end up being abandoned. My fiancee has ADHD so I feel for you, the same will probably happen to your husband where anything that can be a distraction will be a distraction. Perhaps some sort of compromise can be made where you can hire a dog walker or ask a trusted neighbor to walk the dog while your husband is trying to work, a tired dog is a less demanding dog. However, if no compromise can be made, then I wish you luck finding a new owner for the sweet pup. I'm sorry you have to make this kind of decision 🙁
