She sounds very lonely. If you’re American and know the area, you need to start getting her involved with different people. Is their a Moroccan community you can introduce her to? Or a hobby she likes you can go with her to for a few months until she makes friends? Or maybe you can find a way to make it her home? Buy some furniture together for example. It will all be a lot to begin with but once she puts down some roots she may become more independent and rely less on you to not feel alone.
