1. It could be since you didn't tell him why he just felt like he couldn't do anything to help.    Yes, your gf is being mean and shouldn’t try to push you into doing things with shaming language. It’s reasonable to break up with someone who behaves like that.

   But it also sounds like you have some anxiety issues that limit your life. Your gf sounds frustrated with your anxiety. I would probably be pretty annoyed with someone who ran their car out of gas and couldn’t come up with a solution. It is fair to want a life partner who can deal with… life. If it’s always her taking care of you, that gets old. But she should just break up and not belittle you.
