Not lying, I have really good and close friends that are 20 years younger – really beautiful women, I see them as people I have to look after, like family.
Some of them are the daughters of friends, so there is a line there that I would never cross. I am the trusted guy purely because if I was ever creepy with even one young lady, all the young ladies I know would know about it within 45 seconds.

It was an ex but someone I've known for 20+ years. I see this person maybe 2-3 times a year. Like I said, she's fully aware of this person. Like you said, its a bad look.
We have chatted briefly but I haven't really had an opportunity to explain myself. Tuesday she said she loved me and wanted to talk in person. I left her alone Wednesday. Sent her flowers yesterday and she texted me and said she loved me and thought the flowers made her smile. Today she says she wants to work on herself and she loves me and wishes me the best.
