You're not into him. The new wore off, you're starting to see his real self.
Partner needs to think of the long term resentment too.
His brother is more then capable of learning to be an independent adult.
But if he is going to spend the next 30-60 years taking care of his brother with potentially ruining his relationships what then.
It may cost your partner a lot of opportunities job, life, relationship as he has to help an adult who should be living/adulting their own life.
By hobbling the brother he will never get any life skills, and imagine the partner he gets if he does having to teach brother the basics of being an adult because family decided to be too proud to get help.
This is in no ways a healthy way to deal with this.
