The reason i think they are toxic about us is that she was dating for a short period someone who was kinda part of the friend group. I say kinda because most if not everyone didnt like him too much and he was very flakey and rarely actually interacted with any of us. At first most if not all of them were extremely supportive of us both and one even encouraged us to get together. Then at one point they just all switched and became extremely toxic for reasons I have no idea about.
It wasn't her telling me it was toxic behavior anyone with a brain would see how dispicable it was. They photoshopped images of both our faces onto pictures of porn and various porn games among other things but that is the main thing.
It's not that they would reject me it's more that I don't want to go back to them knowing they are capable and would do what they did with no remorse.
