How was it still a year and it sounds like you’re both unsure of what type of relationship you both wanted. Communication is key and men/women are both dumb and interpret things in their own way unless it’s blatantly obvious.

So being friends of the opposite gender is in general fine by me. But both me and my partner would be very wary of someone we know uses their looks and behave flirty around other people. Those types of people usually come attached with a wide variety of drama we want no part of.
I also think it's important to set more firm boundaries with people like that. Show them clearly you are a 100% loyal to your partner and have no romantic interest in them whatsoever. Sometimes that means treating them more coldly and detached. I don't know if your behavior is flirty, or whether your gf is a bit insecure in that area. But I do think it would bother me if my partner was being very kind and friendly to a manipulative conniver.
