I would be blunt with her and tell her the reality/logistics and tell her to make a decision. 1. You go to school, but you need to file for financial aid because neither of us will be able to afford it otherwise 2. You don’t go to school, but find a job that pays a somewhat reasonable wage. She seems to have an all or nothing/black or white attitude, “Either I pay for school out of pocket, get a degree, and open my own business OR I do absolutely fuck all nothing.” That type of attitude won’t get her anywhere in life. Move on. As a guy, don't worry too much about finding female friends. If you happen to develop some casual acquaintances (like through work for example) then great, but once you have “taken your shot” so-to-speak and asked one out, if the girl does not reciprocate your feelings, then you stop trying to interact with her for any reason beyond work / school / etc. And I mean that literally – like don't even look at her, don't give her anymore validation, etc. Just completely disengage.
