This may be hot OP but he did the right thing. Sexual compatibility is very important to a romantic relationship, without that it can just feel like friendship to some. My most recent ex and I had the best sex life of any of my relationships, when that started to slip, it wad because of other issues in our relationship and it served as a barometer for the rest of the relationship. When things were good, we would have amazing sex multiple times a day, when they were bad one of us would kiss the other goodnight and roll over. You and your ex both deserve somebody who is on the same page with how often you want to have sex. There’s nothing wrong with that.
You can try to make it work, but I wouldn’t.
In my own personal opinion I can side with your feelings and your perspective.
I don't think it is neccesarily wrong to keep pictures of an ex in a hidden folder just for old times sake of perhaps good memories you want to preserve. But then you shouldn't be secretive about it.
Furthermore, any “nudes” should be deleted out of respect for the person, no longer being in your life.
It is an act of lying and emotional betrayal towards the relationship (not specifically you).
The result leading to trust issues that you not have to deal with.
