His relationship with you and your Mum are no doubt being torn apart by his constant need for money to feed his addiction. Its sad but true and it will take something major for him to own up to his problems. It really is ideal you having a call with him at some point and explaining why this behaviour is bothering you and how it's making you feel overall. Point out to him that he has a problem and try and make him understand that it's him and not you. He will probably get defensive but once the seeds are planted, he at least has some awareness. Other than that, maybe distance yourself. Since you're in a different country, you are less obligated to be in as much contact as him. If he gets angry or whatever, go NC until he calms down and apologises. There is a lot of options here but they're all pretty hard. Good luck to you!
I’m gonna give you some tough love. If you move in with this guy, you’re an idiot. This is a man who blamed rape victims for their experiences. Are you genuinely okay with being with someone who has shown himself to be a disgusting excuse for a human being?
