In this case I wouldn't recommend ghosting. Speak plainly about how you can't be her emotional support with her current degree of issues. You could even try and take a small step back instead and tell them if they want to keep this relationship they need to go to a therapist and save coffee dates for you. How could you get past this? You will have resentment forever and resentment destroys relationships. He fucked up, he cheated, man or woman is hardly a factor. I at least thought I was fully emotionally available before getting into this relationship. I had no feelings towards my ex. It's only now that I'm in a relationship that they're coming back.
Thank you, I know. I've also talked about close friends about this and they have the same sentiment. I've put my partner on a pedestal and always catered to their feelings however it wrecked me. I've actually broken up with them recently and I know it's the best and right decision for me/us, but the gaslighting I received from them makes me doubt some of the things I voiced out to them during the break up
