He could still be hung up – it took me *YEARS* to get over a bad relationship and he just broke up “a month before he met” you? How long have you been together? how long were they together? If they were together years? You don't just forget that over night… if you've been together for a short period? he's probably still in that “grieving” period, IMO. Or it could be innocuous comments and you're just being paranoid lol

I really think it's best you discuss this in therapy. It could be so many things and a single post an reddit is just not enough to go on. Even in therapy it will take some time. Best not to start anything new before you have a better understanding about where these feelings are coming from.
