7. Oh I totally agree this instance is beyond inappropriate/suspicious, especially him keeping aspects of the relationship away from his wife.

   And yea, love my current therapist. Finding a good one is not easy. My first one – it was like I was paying him to be psychoanalyzed in order to satiate his own intellectual curiosities. Oh and he also got me addicted to Benzos. Not cool.

9. Why would you reach out to him? It is very unlikely that he wants to hear from you. It may trigger him and bring up memories that he doesn't want to think about.

   Even if you apologize, would it be for HIS benefit or would it just be to clear your conscience?

   It's great that you've realised your mistakes. But I think you still have a lot of work to do. Afterall, as humans, there's always room for improvement.

   So yeah, my advice is to just leave him alone.
