You’re leaving out quite a bit here. Making it sound like this is recent when 100+ days ago this was starting to be an issue…and 150+ days ago you were still married to your ex wife who you cheated on to be with this new partner – the ex wife you were then feeling drawn back to.
There’s a lot here. It sounds like no one is in a healthy place, and that needs to be addressed first. It does sound as if y’all got carried away with the initial newness of the relationship and dove in head first without really looking carefully at everything. What makes that more of a bummer is the kids got dragged in too. My thought would be for everyone to back off, seek some health, then reevaluate.
Yeah, he absolutely needs to have this issue raised. He's either lazy or incontinent. If it's the former, time for some corrective shame. If it's the latter then he needs to see a proctologist ASAP for treatment.
The only reason I even float the medical angle is that 30 is prime time to start having issues back there and if you've never had any before it's easy to be either too oblivious or too embarrassed to seek help for it.
