It seems like the disconnection was furthered by your BF so their principals seem to be a bit in line with the friend group. It’s rough. But if they mattered to the degree to which you feel like you’re missing something in your life that can be salvaged and was needlessly destroyed, I would try to speak with them. It sucks losing friends but as someone who has had to lose a lot of them, sometimes it’s better. This is where you weight out the pros and cons, risks and rewards. It’s not up to you to get over it though, and it’s okay to be sad and embrace it. That will pass. That’s an indication that something valuable was lost, not that the something lost needs to come back.
